Privacy
Privacy notice
This notice explains how information submitted through the Hatual Law website is handled.
Effective October 15, 2026
01 · About this notice
Scope of this notice
This Privacy Notice applies to personal information collected through this website and related communications with Hatual Law. It does not replace the terms of any engagement agreement or describe every practice that may apply to an established client file.
The person responsible for the applicable processing of website information is Hatual Law, located at 536 S 2nd Ave, Suite P, Covina, CA 91723.
02 · Collection
Information submitted through the site
When a visitor requests a consultation, the site stores the name, telephone number, email address, selected matter type, and message provided by that visitor. This information is used to review and respond to the request. Submitting information does not create an attorney-client relationship.
Communications and scheduling
We may also collect information you provide by telephone, email, text message, appointment request, or other communication, including records of our correspondence and scheduling information.
Sensitive information
A message about a potential legal matter may contain medical, employment, financial, government-identification, or other sensitive information. Please provide only what is reasonably necessary for an initial review and do not send original documents, account credentials, or highly sensitive records unless the firm asks you to use an approved method.
Technical and security information
Our hosting, security, and network providers may automatically process limited technical information such as an IP address, browser and device type, requested pages, referring page, date and time, and security-event data. This information is used to deliver the site, maintain logs, diagnose problems, and protect the site from abuse.
03 · Purpose
How information is used
Hatual Law may use personal information for the purposes described below and for other compatible purposes permitted by law:
- to review and respond to consultation requests, perform an initial conflict check, communicate about a potential matter, and schedule appointments;
- to provide legal services if the firm and the individual later enter into an attorney-client relationship;
- to operate, secure, troubleshoot, maintain, and improve the website and the firm’s internal systems;
- to maintain appropriate records, protect legal rights, prevent misuse, and comply with applicable law, court orders, professional obligations, and lawful requests.
04 · Disclosure
When information may be disclosed
We do not disclose personal information merely because it was submitted through this website. Information may be disclosed only as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this notice, including in the following circumstances:
- to service providers that support hosting, email, communications, data storage, cybersecurity, website administration, or other firm operations, subject to appropriate obligations;
- to firm personnel, professional advisers, co-counsel, referral counsel, experts, or other participants in a legal matter when authorized, reasonably necessary, or otherwise permitted by applicable professional duties and law;
- when required or permitted by law, legal process, court order, professional responsibility rules, or to protect the safety, rights, and security of the firm or others;
- in connection with an authorized reorganization or transition of the practice, subject to applicable confidentiality, professional-responsibility, and legal requirements.
No sale or behavioral advertising
Hatual Law does not currently sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, and the public website does not currently use third-party advertising or analytics trackers. If those practices change, this notice and any legally required choices will be updated before the new practice is enabled.
05 · Website technology
Cookies and tracking
The public website currently does not use advertising, analytics, or cross-site tracking cookies. A strictly necessary, first-party session cookie is used only after an administrator signs in to the protected management area. It supports security and expires automatically; it is not used for advertising or visitor profiling.
Browser privacy signals
Because the public website does not currently sell or share personal information for targeted advertising, it does not respond differently to browser “Do Not Track” settings or Global Privacy Control signals. If an opt-out right becomes applicable, Hatual Law will provide and honor the required mechanism.
06 · Safeguards
Retention
Information is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for intake review, conflicts administration, communications, legal and professional obligations, security, recordkeeping, dispute resolution, and the purposes described in this notice. Retention periods vary according to the nature of the information and the reason it was collected.
Security and transmission
Hatual Law uses reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information. No website, email system, transmission method, or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Do not use the website for emergencies or send highly sensitive or time-critical information before the firm confirms an appropriate method.
07 · Your choices
Your privacy choices and California rights
Depending on the law that applies and subject to available exceptions, an individual may have the right to request access to or information about personal information, correction of inaccurate information, deletion, or a copy of certain information. Where applicable, California law may also provide rights to opt out of sale or sharing, limit certain uses of sensitive personal information, and receive equal service and pricing after exercising a privacy right.
To submit a privacy request, email ibahhur@hatullaw.com or call 901-292-1074. Please describe the request and provide enough information for the firm to identify the relevant records. Hatual Law may verify identity or authority before responding and may retain information when required or permitted by law or professional obligations.
Children’s privacy
This website is intended for adults seeking information about legal services and is not directed to children under 13. Hatual Law does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through this website. A parent or guardian who believes a child submitted information may contact the firm to request review and appropriate action.
Third-party websites and services
This website may link to maps, government resources, or other third-party websites. Their privacy and security practices are governed by their own notices, and Hatual Law is not responsible for their content or practices.
